Blue Star Museum at Fort Concho

Armed Forces Day marks the beginning of the Blue Star Museum program nationwide. All active duty military and their families can take advantage of free admission to participating museums. Check out their website for a list of all locations. However, Fort Concho has extended this offer to veterans and their families as well! The program starts on Saturday, May 17, 2025, and runs through Labor Day, September 1, 2025. Self-guided tours run Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 3:30 pm. And Sundays, 1 pm to 3:30 pm. Our gift shop/sutler store closes at 5 pm daily. Some tour buildings may be closed due to weather, so please call ahead to make sure we are open for tours.
