National Cowboy Day at Fort Concho

Fort Concho will celebrate National Cowboy Day on Saturday, July 26, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Western Art Show in Barracks 6. The event is free and open to all. It all starts at 9:00 AM with the opening of the Western Art Show featuring 50 paintings from six artists chosen by last year's guests, with breakfast pastries, fruit, juice, and coffee. 9:30 AM: Gallery talk by Laura Huckaby from the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts. 10:00 AM: Performance by the Concho Cowboys in the Courtyard. The show continues until 4:00 PM on Saturday and runs until Sunday, August 3, with hours from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Tuesdays-Saturdays) and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM (Sundays).
