Ribbon Cutting | Southern Rolling Plains Cotton Growers Association

Ribbon Cutting | Southern Rolling Plains Cotton Growers Association

Friday, May 17, 2024 (2:00 PM - 2:30 PM) (CDT)

Description

Agriculture is a major contributor to the regional economy. The Texas A&M AgriLife Center here in San Angelo is primarily a sheep and goat center though the physical footprint of the center does not allow for much in the way of long-term agronomic research. The Southern Rolling Plains Cotton Growers Association has secured a 35-acre location in partnership with the Texas A&M AgriLife personnel to become the long-term agronomic research location for Tom Green County. Come help us celebrate this incredible milestone in agricultural development for our community!
