Description
One-day session designed for nonprofit staff and board leaders!
Join us for an interactive session designed to examine what a strategic plan is, what it is not, why
funders want to see that nonprofits have one, and why having a plan should be important to our
boards. This fast-moving class will explore what it takes to prepare for the strategic planning
process and the different components that make up a strategic plan. We will answer questions like
how long does the process take, do I need a consultant to lead the process, do we need a planning
committee, who needs to be involved, what do we do now that we have the plan along with others.
Participants will walk away with tools that will help them create the framework for the plan and
how to use the plan once it has been written.
